St. John's was chosen as our first step toward the treasure, because the clues read, “This treasure is grand ever since it's birth, it might even lead to a new earth.” My dad took this to mean that something important was at Terra Nova National Park of Canada. We're driving over to the park tomorrow. Also, around the edges of the clues are numbers. My parents figure they're a hint to where the treasure can be found. First they thought it might be the latitude/longitude co-ordinates. But the co-ordinates for St John's are 47° 37' N 52° 45' W, which don't match up. Then National Park in comparison to St. John's
we thought population density had something to do with it. But 225.6/km2 also doesn't fit. So we decided to stop thinking about them.
We then began to walk around the city and decided to do 'touristy' things, such as hikes by the water or bird, iceberg, whale, fish watching. With all the choices, it was very overwhelming! We ended up agreeing to walking around the town and looking in the little shops. It was a little chillier than I'm used for summer; around 13°C, though my mom told me the winters are fairly warm, at around -1°C~M
