Water and Winnings
Victoria, in the Pacific Maritime, near the Pacific Rim National Park of Canada, with a population density of 3965.5/km2, industries in automotive and welded supplies, temperate 'marine west coast' climate. Semper Liber.
Victoria Harbour
Ah. The final destination on our trip, for I know the treasure is to be found in this city, Victoria, British Columbia. The number, 482512319, matches up to the longitude/latitude; 48° 25'N 123° 19 W. And there's water here. Also, the other number inscribed on the clues, 78, 057, matched the population of Victoria. Now we just have to find the treasure. Which - oh! We're going hunting for it now! I'll fill you in on it later!
...Later...
We walked all over Victoria, and it was so gorgeous! It's so green! With swamps, mountains in the distance, and beaches! Wow! Such a great place for tourism, too. Obviously, there's the scenery, but they also h

Oh, yes! The clues! WE FOUND THE TREASURE! An old, rusty box was right where the 'x' marked the spot. We brought the chest back to Our treasure map
our hotel room, and opened it together. You wouldn't believe what was inside! MORE CLUES!But I think they even take us outside of Canada this time! This is so much more than I bargained for for my summer! Hasta la vista!~M
Regina and Roughriders
Regina, located in the Prairie ecozone, near the Grasslands National Park, at 50° 26' N 104° 40' W, on the landform called the Regina Plain. The Queen City.

I'm in Regina! It's so nice here! Flat, but nice. It has a manageable population of 179, 246, and a population density of 1507.9/km2, which is high, but you really get a feeling of coziness here. The climate is absolutely perfect! Sometimes called the sunniest city in Canada, it has warm summers and cold dry winters. Right now, it's around 27°C.Regina logo
I think this is right near the

to which I may move. It has the industries I'm interested in-oil, natural gas, and mining. I think I'll try for a job at Imperial Oil. IfMap of Saskatchewan
that fails, I guess I could find a job in the tourism industry. There's the Mackenzie Art Gallery, Royal Saskatchewan Museum, the Roughriders football club, Heritage Centres, and so much more! I wish we could stay here longer, but I think my mom has figured out where the treasure is (which, I might remind you, I figured out in Niagara Falls).
Yep-I have to go pack now. See you out West!

Niagara Falls and Narcotics
Niagara Falls, found in Mixedwood Plains, great tourist attractions, landform- Niagara Falls, with a humid continental climate due to proximity to water, population 82, 184, closest national park- Point Pelee National Park of Canada.
No treasure to be found in Quebec, but my parents allowed me to have a look at the clues, and one line read, “To be found where the water flows,
yes, quick, grab that pot of gold!” And if you want to see water in Canada, where do you go? Niagara Falls, of course! Honeymoon capital of the world!
Our day in N
iagara Falls was great. There were so many people though, that it felt like at least double the real population density of 392.1/km2. So many tourists-what an industry! Every resident in 'the Falls' (as the locals say) must devote their whole life to meeting the every need of tourists!

Our day in N
I'm starting not to care about the treasure anymore (not that I really did before) but I'm going so many amazing places, and if I find something, well, that's just an added bonus! The number code is really bugging me. Nothing about it matched up with Niagara Falls. The longitude/latitude is 43° 06 N 79° 02' W. I'm actually starting to think I may have cracked the code, but I think
I'll convince my parents to go to Regina, first. I've never been to a prairie province before. Gotta run now, and get some codeine for my headache!Map of Niagara Falls

Québec and Carnivale
Québec City, located in the Mixedwood Plains, with mostly tertiary industries in tourism, and located close to La Mauricie National Park of Canada. La Vielle Capitale.
Château Frontenac at the sunset
Let's just say the Terra Nova idea was wrong. And a big fat catastrophe. But let's not live in the past, shall we?We're flying to Québec City right now. My dad figured we should go there next, because one clue was in French. My mom looked over the number factor again, but the number that encircled the paper, 482512319, didn't matc
I can't wait to land in Québec. It's just so picturesque. Everything has such a history, making it great for tourism! The Winter Carnivale, Château Frontenac, Montmorency Château Frontenac in winter
Falls, the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré are just some of the wonderful things you can see there! And to add to that, it has a very enticing climate. Cold, beautiful white winters, and warm, humid summers, albeit a tad rainy.Oh, and the land is so gorgeous! So much farmland, and the St. Lawrence River right there!
We're about to land, so I'm putting this away. Hopefully there is treasure to be found!

Newfoundland and Numbers
St. John's, located in the lovely Boreal Shield, home to rolling hills, and boreal forest, with industries in oil, gas, and tourism. The City of Legends
St. John's was chosen as our first step toward the treasure, because the clues read, “This treasure is grand ever since it's birth, it might even lead to a new earth.” My dad took this to mean that something important was at Terra Nova National Park of Canada. We're driving over to the park tomorrow.
Also, around the edges of the clues are numbers. My parents figure they're a hint to where the treasure can be found. First they thought it might be the latitude/longitude co-ordinates. But the co-ordinates for St John's are 47° 37' N 52° 45' W, which don't match up. Then National Park in comparison to St. John's
we thought population density had something to do with it. But 225.6/km2 also doesn't fit. So we decided to stop thinking about them.
We then began to walk around the city and decided to do 'touristy' things, such as hikes by the water or bird, iceberg, whale, fish watching. With all the choices, it was very overwhelming! We ended up agreeing to walking around the town and looking in the little shops. It was a little chillier than I'm used for summer; around 13°C, though my mom told me the winters are fairly warm, at around -1°C

Pirates and Planes
Ahoy mateys! First day of summer vacation and what am I doing? Helping my parents find buried pirate treasure. Just the thing I want to do on my break. So how did this idea of pirate treasure arise?
I had just come home from my last exam, when my parents threw the idea at me. They had a found a bottle at the beach, with faded, sun-stained papers rolled up inside. When they got home they took the papers out and examined them. They determined that they had clues on them to finding some pirate's long lost treasure... Not that I can make any sense of them. But whatever. Maybe we will find the treasure.
Gotta run, boarding the plane.
Destination: St. John's, population 100, 646.
